| Q. What's it made of?
A. Our jewellery and clan crests are hand wrought in old fashioned Pewter, an ancient alloy of tin, lead and copper, in use for 1,000 years or more. Pewter does not contain silver.
Q. What is the finish?
A. The silver appearance is in fact a plated finish of Palladium (similar to Platinum) which, unlike silver, is resistant to tarnishing and will not scratch readily. The Gold finish is 23 carat electroplated.
Q.Are the stones real?
A. They are the very best glass imitations available.
Q.Do you offer a "Special Order Service"?
A. Yes. Provided you are carrying reasonable stocks we pledge full support by sending special orders to you, or direct to your customer anywhere in the world. No handling charge - just the cost of the postage.
Q.Do you replace faulty goods?
A. Yes. Inherent in our commitment to customer satisfaction and retention, is excellence of product quality. All reasonable claims are met without a quibble.
Q.Any tips to increase my sales of Art Pewter?
A. Return the code tickets regularly.
Make sure your Sales Staff know the information contained here and in the catalogue.
Staff should also be familiar with the general historical notes accompanying each piece, in order to sell the range confidently.
Q.Do you offer staff training for your products?
A. Yes. We will be pleased to arrange it.
Q.Do I need to clean my jewellery?
A. As the plated finish of Palladium prevents tarnishing, it is unlikely you will have to clean your jewellery. Satin finished pieces should be gently washed with lukewarn soapy water. 'Silver Polish' or strong cleaning materials are not recommended for our jewellery.
